Graphic Design Project: Across the spiderverse fanposters

Game Projects:

While I don't have anything concrete available currently, I am working on Wizard City TD (working title) a Bloons City inspired city builder and TD hybrid. The main goals of the project are to address some problems of taste I have with Bloons broadly (mainly the live service model; this game should be completed in abut 10-20 hours with room for a repeat playthrough for completionists) as well as adding some of my own charm, along with the input of my friend Clara, who's going to be doing a lot of help with the project. Once completed, the game will follow a recent graduate of a wizard trade school for conjuration and urban development, helping to rebuild a town that was all-but-destroyed by incursions of monsters from portals. Luckily for us, monsters make a great source of mana. Spend a little to make temporary constructs to get more mana in the Tower Defense, or spend a lot on permanent constructs in the city builder, rebuilding the lost critical infrastructure to keep the hapless burough safe, unlocking new towers from lost documents in the process. No clue on a release date, but I'll keep you posted!

Additionally, in my freetime I've been developing a shitpost boardgame to be made into a tabletop sim I'm calling Soup-er Watchamawhosit Party. The project's going to be a tabletop version of mario party, complete with Stars (or $oup), minigames, and chance time. I'm also including a lot of weird events and intensely wacky items, mostly as vehicles for things I personally find funny or references to in-jokes in friend groups. The fact that the equivalent to stars is $oup is one of these jokes, and I will not be explaining it. Sort of light, so it probably shouldn't take too long, but I'm setting a deadline for September this year, so I'll be able to force people to play it for my birthday.

Writing project: Annie 'Tis Gone

A writing project I undertook starting around july, 2024 and finishing around march. This 54-page script is an outline for a modern adaptation of Sophacles' Antigone, moving the setting from ancient greece to a modern suburb. Antigone is a work that's inspired a lot about how I view the world and politics, and I channeled that worldview back into this version. Additionally on my mind while writing was the 2014 production, Antigone in Ferguson, which was written in the wake of the police shooting of Michael Brown.

Photography project: Three walks in my own back yard

A fairly simple project I undertook in april of 2023, my goal was to guide a viewer through a commentated walk through three locations (physically) near to me, those being a dead mall, an abandoned bridge, and a forest path, all the while I took notes on why I felt the need to photograph this or that specific item, additionally commenting on my emotional relationship to the three spaces. Now, allow me to guide you through...

Part 1: The Mall

Part 2: The Bridge

Part 3: The Forest
